We are now offering solid spreading with the Hawe DST24 24 M3 universal spreader. We have chosen the Hawe for its universal handling capabilities of all spreadable material.
With full weigh cell package and forward speed matching rate control. The spreader has cutting edge application accuracy.
This elite unit also includes a metering slide and four solid scraper chains—all designed to help ensure precise material flow no matter what you're working with. An added bonus is a specialised spreading cone ideal for light materials like compost or dried poultry manure.

The spreader will handle all types of lime, gypsum, paper crumb, compost, chicken manures and all types of FYM. With its three rota’s , spinning disc and adjustable hood design it conditions, shreds and evenly distributes all types of solids for a fine even spread pattern. From 6 meters to 24 meters depending on density of material.
While still achieving reasonable work rates of tonnes per hour.
With low ground compaction the spreader is running on tandem axel with a rear steering axel on 710 tyres. This has less ground impact and no scuffing on the headlands which is ideal on grassland and following tramlines on growing cereal crops , therefore less crop damage in general when applying manures as a top dressing. The Hawe is a good all-round application tool in aiding of reducing you artificial bought in fertilisers, but accurately applying you organic materials.

Rob Morgan has been delighted with the performance of his Hawe spreader . He has put it to work on a range of materials from lime , box muck, sludge cake and chicken manure on grass and on tramlines on cereals all with great results.
We are offering this service to all farmers who wish to make more of their solid manures, for top dressing growing crops and for reducing their dependency on bought in fertilisers. The one area that we would see this as being a real benefit to is solid FYM manures to grassland . As in the past farmers have shied away from this because of the method of application leaving contamination for mowing or grazing. We can offer a very fine spread pattern with no lumps which is now easier for the crowing crop to absorb the material by harvest or grazing all residues of disappeared. This makes putting FYM more realistic than just disposing of it on ploughed/ cultivated land utilising it more efficiently.

Forage wagon
We are now offering a forage wagon service . Currently costs spiralling the forage wagon offers a cost affective solution . For clamp and Ad-Bag silage. We offer a full or part service for those of you that might want to mow/ rake/ buckrake ETC themselves. To reduce costs and utilise some of the machinery that they may already own.
Advantages of the forage wagon are . We charge an hourly rate so on light crops we are very cost affective. It is ideal for clearing grass that has got ahead of grazing , there is to much to much to top but to lighter crop to harvest in the conventional way.
A chop length of 35mm -70mm which helps with animal health/ rumination and preventing a DA in dairy cattle. It also has various health benefits for top performance in beef cattle.
